Account Types

Each Account represents a financial entity, capable of holding and managing funds. There are two types of accounts: Operation Accounts and Trading Accounts. Additionally, a Simple Mode exists.

Operation Accounts

Operation accounts are used for the general operational activities of a merchant. These accounts are used for managing operational funds, paying expenses, and other routine financial activities.

  • Only one operation account can be created per FIAT currency.
  • Multiple operation accounts can be created for each CRYPTO currency.
  • Operation accounts cannot participate in exchanges.

Trading Accounts

Trading accounts are specialized for financial activities involving exchanges. They are designed for active trading and can perform execute exchange operations in supported currencies.

  • Only one trading account can be created per FIAT currency.
  • Multiple trading accounts can be created for each CRYPTO currency.

Simple Mode

Simple mode is a streamlined configuration intended for merchants who do not require the full suite of account types. In simple mode:

  • Merchants cannot have separate Trading Accounts.
  • The functionality of trading and operation accounts is combined, meaning a single account type handles both operational activities and trading operations. This simplifies account management by eliminating the need to distinguish between the two account types.
